Lobster Rolls & Fried Clams: Our lobsters are fresh-picked and delivered to us by a Cape Ann lobsterman. Then we cook it to sweet perfection, hand-shuck it, toss it with a bit of mayo, and serve it in a toasted, buttered split-top roll.  It is New England lobster roll perfection. Locally harvested, our clams are the sweetest, most tender you’ll find. Lightly battered, fried to a golden brown and served up with hand-cut fries, cole slaw and a tangy tartar sauce.

Situated in the downtown village section of picturesque Manchester-by-the-Sea, 7 Central Public House, is conveniently located within walking distance of Singing Beach, Manchester Harbor and the MBTA commuter rail. Serving the Manchester community for over 100 years, 7 Central offers artfully prepared lunch, dinner and, of course, Sunday brunch service.

The restaurant’s bright, front pub looks out over town hall common and Central Street, while the back dining room offers a slightly more formal dining experience and an additional, full-service bar overlooking our back deck with views of Saw Mill Brook. All dining areas offer the restaurant’s full menu starting at 11:45am Monday through Saturday and starting at 11:00 am for brunch on Sunday.

In addition to our dining offerings, we present nightly events and weekend entertainment which includes the North Shore’s best in live, local music on Saturday and Sunday nights in the pub as well as national-caliber comedy and concert events in our 7Up event space.

Whether visiting town and looking for great dining option, taking in one of our many nightly events and live entertainment options, or enjoying a special evening with friends or family, 7 Central is Cape Ann’s best option for uncompromising dining and entertainment.
